Community Involvement

TMC understands that the success of our local community is vital to the success of our business. We are neighbors with our customers and live side-by-side with them every day. Our children play together and our families grow together. We believe that our mutual success is the outcome of active community participation. TMC supports our community by promoting local and state-level Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs and by contributing to other local, charitable organizations. Some examples of our community involvement are:

  • East Fairmont High School Computer Lab Donation- TMC donated funds to the local high school to purchase of 10 laptops for their computer lab, and Wade Linger (TMC President) is a WV State Board of Education member and former board President
  • Shop-with-a-cop - TMC sponsored a local disadvantaged child for Christmas during the annual “Shop with a Cop” program
  • CubeSat Technology Research - TMC partnered with WVU and NASA and also donated funding to support STF-1 CubeSat research & development at West Virginia University School of Engineering, and Wade Linger (TMC President) is a board member of the WV-NASA Space Grant Consortium and WVU School of Engineering advisory board
  • CASA Superhero 5k Race - TMC has sponsored the  Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Superhero 5k run for 2016 and 2017. The West Virginia CASA Association is a volunteer group that provides a voice for abused and neglected children who find themselves in the court system. Volunteer advocates offer judges and officials the critical information they need to ensure each child’s rights and needs are being attended to while in foster care.
