Daniel Marner

Daniel Marner has worked in IT and software development for 35 years, with 25 years supporting government contracts. He has supported and eventually led significant development efforts for the Department of Defense, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, as well as supporting smaller efforts for various Federal agencies. Dan has a BSCS from National University and additional graduate-level software engineering and mathematics coursework. Dan is a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certified Scrum Master.

At TMC, Dan has many important roles. In addition to supporting the FBI as a SAFe Certified Scrum Master, Dan manages a team of primarily experienced and uniformly performing, developers, testers, administrators, and engineers, who support a variety of FBI systems. He also provides technical leadership to TMC as our Chief Technology Officer (CTO), where he ensures TMC’s corporate structure is encapsulated with the latest technologies and infrastructure. In this role, Dan also leads TMC’s Technology Advisory Group, where he gathers TMC’s most innovative and forward-leaning ideas brought forth from an elite group of TMC innovators and thought leaders. Dan helps determine strategic research and commercial roadmaps.

During his spare time, Dan supports the Boy Scouts of America as both a leader of a local Troop and by providing training to Scout leaders throughout the area.

Dan lives between Morgantown and Fairmont with his wife and two dogs. He has two adult sons who are frequently around as well.
